Historical Origins

Pachmarhi’s history traces back to the Gond King Bhawut Singh, with British presence noted during the era of Captain James Forsyth in 1857. Today, much of the region is under the administration of the Pachmarhi Cantonment Board, dedicated to serving the Indian Army.
